Clara Tauson Captures 5 Straight Titles on 27 Consecutive Wins

20 March 2019

16-year-old junior tennis phenom Clara Tauson (DEN), won her first World Super Junior title (Grade A Hard Court) last October, and since then has been on a roll throughout the junior circuit. She stunned the world by winning an astounding 6-straight titles on 32 consecutive wins.

After her October 2018 World Super Junior Tennis Championships win, Tauson took the following week’s ITF Junior Masters for a second consecutive victory. Her 2019 was kicked into high gear as she claimed the first tournament of the year, the AGL Loy Yang Traralgon Junior International, followed up with a big win at the Australian Open Junior Championships. As Tauson’s unprecedented momentum continued, she’s already entered and won two ITF Pro Circuit tournaments, the Magic Tours (Monastir) and Pingshan Open (Shenzhen), rounding out her on court dominance.

She outplayed her opponents with powerful strokes and destructive service from her VCORE racquet — playing at a level deserving of a second glance from most pro level competitors. Tauson will definitely be one to watch in upcoming tournaments.
